Knog Boomers/Tools & Pedal/Grip Restock
The Knog Boomer tail light is now available. I've been excited about this product for months. Finally, a high power LED tail light with the clean, functional design of a Knog housing. I've been using the Planet Bike Superflash for years because it was the only tail light with a super bright high power led that wasn't huge. Still, the housing/bracket is lacking the clean, simple design that you get in a Knog.
Restock on Oury grips. All colors: $14
Knog Boomer: $29
Knog 7 Function Tool: $30
Knog 12 Function Tool: $36
Odyssey PC Twisted pedals. White, Clear/Purple Thermal: $18
In my search for a metal bmx style pedal for a reasonable price, I came across the DMR V8. Alloy pedal, chromoly axle, adjustable bearings (comes with grease syringe). Black or White $34

News. Sales.
First things first...
As of today, I officially solidified a new space for the shop. Yes, ACE METRIC WILL BE MOVING! This won't be happening right away as I'm contractually committed to the current location for about 2 and a half more months, which puts us at March 1st for the opening at the new location. Some of you already know of the space that I was looking to acquire but, I'm not going to make an official announcement of the new address until I get the keys. I will say that the new spot is much more centralized and easily accessible.
STOKED.

News from Today...
I placed the initial order with SE Bikes so anyone who was looking for one whom I didn't make contact with today, please call with your model, size, color preference. This first order should be in next Monday.
Volume Trickster bars are in! Flat white and flat black. $74 each.
Demolition (Volume's sister company) plastic pedals are in as well. Clear Smoke, Clear Blue, and Clear Clear. $18
(Pics tomorrow)
*If you've ever been in the shop in the evenings, you've probably noticed how the Sun comes right through the front window of the shop and reflects off the white tile, often blinding anyone in the store. Well, here's the upside to that.
I get to appreciate sunsets like these as often as Mama Nature gives them to us.

Ace Metric Cat+Comp+Party
Ladies and gentleman in attendance, sponsors, and venues, thank you! Sunday's event went off without a hitch. Here are the results as well as some notes.
Alley Cat:
For an eleven mile race I know it was pretty challenging. Mama Nature helped with some serious wind.
1st Place: Anthony P (Orlando)
2nd Place: Girogio T (Orlando)
3rd Place: Michael Q (Orlando)
1st Female: Jenny W (Miami)
1st Out of Town: Mike P (Ft. Lauderdale)*
*4th Place overall
Trick Comp:
1st Place: Ryan H (Orlando)
2nd Place: Gabe C (Miami)
3rd Place: Ronnie G (Orlando)
Honorable Mention: Mike Lilly (Tallahassee), GL, and Newberry (bank to bank gap and quarter pipe transfer to ditch on a 12 speed was insane!)
After Party:
SKY SIXTY is one of my favorite venues downtown and it was rad to have the place to ourselves. The beer was flowing, TYBO and Kittybat were killin it on the ones and twos, Ben and Brandon were slangin shots and liquor drinks, and I think everyone in the club got a little tipsy. Open air on the rooftop, beautiful Florida Autumn weather, good tunes, good vibes, and good folks all added up to the perfect ending to the day. Oh yeah, did I mention the hour long raffle. Prizes a plenty but the race winner, Anthony P, walked away with the grand prize, the front track Aerospoke wheel.
*Johnny, Sarah, and anyone who took photos, please send me links! Thanks!
